Kate McAfee was raised in the ruthless tundra that is Lincoln, New Hampshire. Completing her BFA in 2017 for Film and Animation at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.

Serving as a Production Artist at SmashBits Animation, and along with a portfolio of freelance work, she has animated and produced two films, Shute (2016) and Tuckerman (2017), and has served as a lead character animator on the film Sketchy.

Apart from animation, she also enjoys fitness, martial arts, hiking, skiing, musical theater, and unironically listening to the Barenaked Ladies.
